What Can I Expect?
Is There a Dress Code?
At Grace there is no dress code other than wearing clothes. We are a relaxed, informal, "come-as-you-are" style of church. We are more glad to have you here than concerned with what you are wearing. You will see people of all different styles and ages. Some will be in slacks and a collared shirt, others will be in flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt.
As You Enter...
When you drive in and walk up to Grace Tahoe you will be greeted by someone with a warm smile and a welcome. These people are there not just to make you feel at home, but to answer any questions you might have. When you walk in, feel free to grab a cup of coffee or tea and bring it into our worship center.
Do you have something for kids?
Yes. If you have a child from birth to 5th grade, we have a program for them. Our nursery and children's church starts at the beginning of the service. So feel free to check them in and take them to their room before the sevice begins.
- From birth to 5 years old: We have a nursery with great people who volunteer each week to love on our most precious gift, our young children.
- 1st-5th grade: We have our children's church, where our staff of volunteer leaders will take your child through a Bible story and connect the principles in that story in a way that connects to their age group.
- 6th-12th Grade: Once a month our Jr. and Sr. High students meet during the service for a special class just for them. Other Sundays they are a part of the main Sunday service.
Your child's safety is of the utmost concern and importance to us. If you have any questions or comments, please connect with us in the sidebar to the right.
What does a service look like?
We believe worship is a vital part of our walk with Jesus. That is why we have a worship service on Sundays. Worship is not just music and singing, but prayer, giving, and diving into the Bible. We usually start around 9:30 am with songs of worship and praise to God. If you don't know the words...it's okay, we will have them for you.
After some time of celebrating our God through singing and praying, either the pastor or a guest speaker will get up and share from the Bible that focuses on the truth of Jesus in real and practical ways that connect to every day living.
After the message we will finish by spending time worshipping God through singing, praising God in response to His Word.
Am I expected to give money?
While we see giving of our finances, time, and talents as a crucial aspect of our worship to God and walk with Jesus, as a guest you are not expected to give. We want you to come and be a part of our service and connect with Jesus.
If giving is a part of your worship practice, we do not pass around an offering plate at Grace Tahoe, but you can give at our "Connection Point" at our offering box.
